The Year That Was

Colorful fountains, heavy noises, amazing and lively fireworks- all of these flashed in my eyes. In just one blinked of my eyes, it was already New Year! All of the people around me greeted each other. They were kissing, hugging and greeting each other, welcoming the New Year. New Year, new life that’s what of the most people says. But for me we can change anytime we wanted to change. Before leaving 2007, let me share to you what had happened to me.
Last December, before the Christmas, I got very busy. I was one of the organizers of the Christmas party in our place. It is done every Christmas. It was so exhausting. So many preparations were done to make the party smooth. I was so very thankful because, as what the visitors expected, the party went well. According to them, it was two thumbs up. I can’t believe that we were able to put smiles on the faces of in all ages.
In school, we tackled so many lessons for the third periodical. We had so many quizzes and activities, too. I was in difficulty with our lesson and activity in computer. My groupmates were not helping me in making and designing our own web. It freaked me out! I just told myself that I can make it alone even without them.
