Untitled

It’s been along time since I entered this institution. And now, I am leaving this school. Leaving this Alma Mater of mine is very hard. This is where I was developed and shaped like the most precious jars. But I can’t do otherwise. Time is running. And this is it. The final moment. My final days in this institution are getting lesser and lesser.

Final grading has come. There were lots of projects that given to us. We were overloaded with so many activities, assignments, quizzes and other requirements. Almost all us of us, don’t know where when which one to begin first. They didn’t give us enough time to finish those requirements. And freaks me out! They want these projects, activities and other requirement to be done and past on time. Hay! It’s so tiring! I’m really running out of time! Help!

I want to reclaim but I can’t do it. Why? Because if I will not do and past those requirements needed, I will not have grade. And besides on the part of my teachers, I’m really required.
Hmm…surely the best thing that I can do is do the proper action now. And also I will mange my time properly.

Hey wait! Before I forget, graduation is getting nearer and nearer, congratulations to all of you. My friends and fellow school make, we made it! We just conquered again and finish another milestone in our lives! Just keep it up guy!

And of course I want to thank all the people behind my success (our success instead). To our teachers, who developed us, thank you very much. To our great parents, thank for the undying support. To my friends, who sometimes serve as my inspiration. Thank you guys! And of course to God, who showered us, I thank you a lot. Again thank you and happy graduation! Congratulations. We did it guys!

The Year That Was

Colorful fountains, heavy noises, amazing and lively fireworks- all of these flashed in my eyes. In just one blinked of my eyes, it was already New Year! All of the people around me greeted each other. They were kissing, hugging and greeting each other, welcoming the New Year. New Year, new life that’s what of the most people says. But for me we can change anytime we wanted to change. Before leaving 2007, let me share to you what had happened to me.
Last December, before the Christmas, I got very busy. I was one of the organizers of the Christmas party in our place. It is done every Christmas. It was so exhausting. So many preparations were done to make the party smooth. I was so very thankful because, as what the visitors expected, the party went well. According to them, it was two thumbs up. I can’t believe that we were able to put smiles on the faces of in all ages.
In school, we tackled so many lessons for the third periodical. We had so many quizzes and activities, too. I was in difficulty with our lesson and activity in computer. My groupmates were not helping me in making and designing our own web. It freaked me out! I just told myself that I can make it alone even without them.

Hmmmm.............another grading had just past. Another lesson was tuckled. A lot of experiences came in my way. Some problems bothered me, but I never gave up.

A lot lessons in computer was again inculcated in our minds. Some were complicated and some were a quite good. We had so many activities in computer subject. We had the text formatting, the basic html, preformatted text, heading tags and many more.!!!!!
Some of these activities were very hard anfd bothered my mind. It's good my brain didn't give up or malfunctioned he he he!!!! but these subjects were all very educational.
Let's not focus in this subject only, lets also discussed what really made me gave up. You know what are the hardships I suffered. Some of them are making projects almost in all subjects (group and individual). I rushed most of them. I can't do otherwise. Those projects were necessary. Those projects depends my grade. We even slept in my classmate's house just to finish our group project. It was cool and fun!

What Time IS It?

Tik-tak, tik-tak. After a second here comes another second. Tik-tak, tik-tak. After a minute here comes another minute. Tik-tak, tik-tak. An hour had just passed and here’s another one.Criiingg………………. oh my! That signals the end of my day. Just as the day passed, another new experience had come in my life.

I always look at this stuff in our classroom above our board. This is one of the stuffs I love in school. There’s no single minute that I will not taken even a single glance on this stuff. And there’s no single minute that I will not ask my seatmate,” WHAT TIME IS IT?” The time runs so fast. This day will again be a yesterday tomorrow.

The experiences that happened to me during the last week of the first ………….let me write them for you.

For the preparation of our exam, I reviewed a lot. I was so thankful that our schedule for the exam was in the afternoon (at least I had a lot of time to review). The exam was taken for two consecutive days. I reviewed ten subjects. It was so difficult for me. I’m not good in memorizing. Reviewing ten subjects for an ordinary average student like me is quite difficult. This was the difficulty that I had encountered.

There came the first day of the examination. I was so afraid and nervous. I was thinking the content of the tests and the score that I will be getting. But it was just ok ay, because my instinct told me that I can make it (maybe because I reviewed).

Then, there came the second day of the examination. The subjects taken on this day was more difficult than the previous subjects taken during the first day of the examination. The tactics for you to pass these subjects was, you need to memorize well. As I‘ve mention, I am not good in memorization.

What time is it? I did not notice the time. The time was over and the time for the 4examination was over. But it was not yet the time for me to make some fun. My scores and grades were still unknown. The question, “WILL I PASS THE FIRST QUARTER?”
The checking days were judgment periods for me. It was the time for me to know if I pass or not. But I was so happy when I got quite good scores. Thanks to my classmate (you know what I mean. We can’t avoid it!). I was able to pass my subjects. And my grades, after I’ve seen them are quite high.

Goodbye dark clouds. Hello skies of blue!
First quarter had passed and the experiences during this grading… they go with it as an artifact for the completion of my first quarter’s life in school.

So what time is? It’s time to face the second quarter. Another challenge and probably another experience that I will encounter. Crinngg……. Time to say goodbye. Time’s up. Until next time.

This Past Two Weeks

Two weeks had just past. During this past two weeks, we had so many activities. These activities were very exciting and enjoyable!!!!

During the third week of July, we didn't have formal classes. Some of our classmates attended a seminar with the Philippine National Red Cross at the Audio Visual Room in the main building. This seminar lasted for two days, July 16 and 17. These two consecutive days was very exciting for us (kaming mga hidi pumunta sa seminar ay hindi nagklase the whole day).

In our TLE subject, our teacher was on leave during these two weeks. Her nephew died so she need to be at the wake for two weeks ata. Because of this we were delayed in making our blogs. We were lacking of time.In connection to this subject, the Nutrition Month was also celebrated in our school with the team "Healthy Lifestyle ng Kabataan Landas sa Kinabukasan". We joined the different contests and activities. Even though our teacher was not with us during the activities we were able to managed ourselves. Our classmates joined the jingle Competition. This competition was held at the gymnasium. There were so many competitors in the contest. But unluckily, they wasn't able to make it to the top. We know that they did their best (better luck next time guys). It was July 19 when we participated in the Food Festival. Our group decided to sell avocado shake. It was a lot of fun. Selling avocado shake for the first time for a guy like me is quite good!!! This kind of experience was unforgettable.July 20,the second day of the food festival, and as usual we sold again avocado shake. Our product was all sold out.We were happy for that. The 30% of our profit was given to our classmate, Aris who was hospitalized.

These experiences complete my high school life. These experiences are unforgettable!!!

My First Blog

What are the new learning or discoveries that I have learned?

TLE IV, its about Internet! I love this subject!! In this subject, i learned many things since the start of our class. We learned the history of the Internet and the people behind the success of the Internet world. We learned how it began and why it was made and its main purpose. We tackled who used the for the first time and how the word Internet evolved from its original name ARPANET. We learned the universities mostly in Europe which had the access of Internet. These universities were from Europe continent. We also touched the different Internet tools and its services like the e-mail,discussion group, long distance computing etc. Web server, web browser, are the major components of the Internet. We learned how web browser and web work together. We were also guided how we can find a web site properly. We learned on how to used search engines and its steps on how to used it.And also the translation of the search request into search terms. The phrase searching Boolean logic,Pseudo-Boolean logic and term weighing are the search term we tackled.

What are the problem or the challenges that I have encountered?

As for now, the only problem that I am encountering now is the "time pressure" during hands on time. Since we are three in our work station, we can't do our work at the same time.

How did I address these challenges?

Solving the problem that I am encountering now is very easy and simple. Since we are three in our group, the only thing that we can do is the so called, "give and take relationship". We should share what we know and vice versa. We should be patient enough during hands on time in waiting our group mate to finish his job.

Moving on I will do my best to cope up with the problem that I will encounter if ever.

I love TLE IV. I love surfing the net and I love everything about Internet.I know that in this subject I will learn many things that I can use in the near future. I will explore the world of Internet!!!!!!!!!!!
